on here right now, but more will be added when i get chance to...

trust me, its worth the wait :-)

PINOUTS FOR GAMES THAT I HAVE WORKED OUT OR TYPED OUT,
THAT I HAVN'T PUT ON THE INTERNET UNTIL NOW
(added in November 2006 from my own knowledge base - and added to subsequently)

PINOUTS FOR GAMES THAT I HAVE WORKED OUT OR TYPED OUT IN THE PAST,
THAT HAVE BEEN FLOATING ROUND THE INTERNET FOR SOME TIME ALREADY
These pinout documents were all i could find on the net from other places that bear my name, if you know of any more, please let me know so i can add them, i never kept track of these until now :)

ROMS I'VE DUMPED:

Have you ever wondered where all those roms for MAME came from? well, a lot of people have spent money and time dumping those games, but where's the credit eh? Its a thankless job, but someones got to do it. I can't be totally negative about it, as it gives me a misguided warm and fuzzy feeling inside to know i can play game X in mame instead of digging out the real pcb and hooking it up. The un-intended side effect is that thousands of mame-hounds also get to play it on their SCARY ABORTIONS that they call arcade machines :-) All these roms were submitted to the MAME-DEV FTP, most of which got drivers written for them by people i know.

Some may not have made it into mame... so look through and see what you think...

You will also notice that roms you find circulated in mame circles do not contain the original info textfiles that were originally there to aid in fixing the real things, you'll find mine intact below. This problem is slowly being addressed as MAME shifts focus now onto paying attention to to details about the pcbs themselves. THE DUMPING UNION is a group i am part of nowadays that strives to add not only new games, but to try and tidy up the mess of drivers in mame that do not reflect the real hardware. Also to try and correct the mistakes made in the past.

The world famous : Atari Audio / Regulator Bullet-proofing and fixit guide
(not entirely accurate nowadays, but a good intro)
I wrote this document a long time ago for a magazine, i subsequently let it out on the internet and it has bounced around for a while now. In the intervening years, a lot more info has come to light and i really do need to re-write it.

Fluke 9100A Digital Test System

The fluke 9100 is an amazing bit of kit when it works, but it, like the stuff you're trying to fix, is getting on a bit and needs its own maintenance and modifications at times, here is my page of how-to's and pointers to avoid some very annoying pitfalls and quirks with such a custom bit of hardware...
ABI Electronics In-Circuit Digital IC Tester I made this page after selling my DIT, someone asked for the roms, so i decided to do a teardown.
I made this page to keep track of the mods and upgrades to my ABI BoardMaster 4000

I made this page up because i spent 2 days pulling my hair out trying to work out how this fecking thing worked, i finally cracked it and needed to share the info!
